Paula Vandermey is a versatile artist in a variety of media for over 20 years.   Predominately a self taught tattoo artist, she is known for her attention to highly detailed fine line tattoos with a preference that leans towards black and grey. 
 

She loves to celebrate the natural world through her art.  Whether on skin, paper or glass, her observation for precision is apparent.  Growing up in rural Ontario, she is exquisitely faithful to nature and brings a unique curiosity on the living canvas.

 

She teaches part-time in the Crafts and Design program at Sheridan and promotes continued education and activity among artists.  She strives to encourage artists of all diversities to find their unique illustrative style in order to cultivate a sustainable and healthy attitude towards the business of art.
